Sara Elizabeth Baker, 60, passed away July 23, 2016 in Fort Smith. She was born June 16, 1956 in Fort Smith to the late Vincent and Alfreda (Kulesza) Gammill. Sara was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was a member of the Parish Council. She was a Eucharist Minister at Sparks Hospital, a member of the Fort Smith Junior League, and was a volunteer for “In His Name” Food Bank.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Baker; one daughter, Margeaux Baker of Houston, TX; one son, Mitchell Baker of San Francisco, CA; three sisters, Linda Crawford of Columbus, OH, Cynthia Claiborne of Carollton, TX and Stephanie Campbell of Dallas, TX; five brothers, Miles Gammill of Oakland, CA, Warren Gammill of Miami, FL, Bryan Gammill of San Francisco, CA, Todd Gammill of Little Rock, AR, and Bruce Gammill of Van Buren, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Alfreda Gammill, and her brother, Tim Gammill.
Rosary will be Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 5:00 PM in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mass will be said on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Warren Gammill, Bryan Gammill, Todd Gammill, Bruce Gammill, Ron Thomas and Larry Neuhart.
