Tonia Dechow Gill, 59, of Poteau, OK, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith. She was born November 11, 1955 in Huron, SD. She was preceded in death by her father Donald L. Dechow, Sr., brother Tim Dechow and biological daughter April Myers Gowins. Funeral service will be 2:30 PM Friday, February 20, 2015, at Edwards Funeral Home with Rev. Eddy Morton officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. She is survived by her mother Joy Dechow of Poteau, OK two sisters Cherrine Morton and husband Eddy of Muldrow, OK and Pamela Dechow of Broken Arrow, OK, one brother Donald Dechow, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Prue, OK, one niece Angel Dechow and two nephews Chad Dechow and Curtis Kelling. Pallbearers will be David Raney, Chad Dechow, Tevin Lark, Mark Davis and Henry Isham. The family will visit with friends Thursday evening from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Reynolds Cancer Support House, 3324 South M, Fort Smith, AR 72903.
