Obituary of Margaret L. "Margie" Perrin

Margaret L. “Margie” Perrin, 61, of Jensen Beach, passed away on November 28, 2017. Born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 31, 1956, Margie had previously lived in Arkansas before moving to the Jensen Beach area over 33 years ago. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with her BA degree in Elementary Education. During her time at the UofA she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority. After graduating from college, she was employed as a grade school teacher in Lavaca, AR. Later, Margie worked alongside her husband, Michael, at their restaurant 11 Maple Street in Jensen Beach, which they’ve owned for over three decades. Besides her passion for running the front of the business and serving her customers, she had a variety of interests - hiking and backpacking when she and Michael traveled the country, walking and biking to Hutchinson Island, going on adventures with her Supper Club girls, volunteering for causes that were dear to her heart and helping those in need. On a few rare occasions she was known to sing karaoke, dance by the light of the moon and even engage in water gun fights with nieces and nephews. With her extensive knowledge of wines, some would consider her a sommelier of sorts; and we all know she loved her wine! She especially loved the beach and spending time there with her family when they visited. Margie touched many people with her kindness and generosity. She will be greatly missed for her courageous, goofy, fun, loving spirit and that contagious laugh and Arkansas accent for which she was known. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Dean Michael Perrin of Jensen Beach, FL; sisters, Missy Buckley (Bob) of Muskogee, OK, and Ginny “Sister” Nusz (Matt) of McKinney, TX; brother, H.B. Fink of Fayetteville, AR; sister in law, Deborah Perrin Hoffmann (Tim) of Jensen Beach, FL; nieces, Jennifer Marchbanks, Kelly Belkoff, Shanna Salter, and Emily Fink; nephews, Gary Salter and Jeremy Fink; several great nieces and nephews, and numerous friends from the region and around the world. Margie is predeceased by her parents, Harry and Emily Fink. A Celebration of Margie’s life will be held on Sunday, December 10th at 1:30PM at 11 Maple Street in Jensen Beach, FL. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Hibiscus House, 839 NW Fed. Hwy, Stuart, FL 34994. Please visit her online guestbook at www.aycockjensenbeach.com Arrangements are entrusted to Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach FL.
