David C. Whitson of Fort Smith, Arkansas was born January 18, 1956 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Herman E. and Helen Blanche (Cole) Whitson and passed away September 17, 2017 in Spiro, Oklahoma at the age of 61.
He is survived by his wife; Nancy Whitson of the home, three daughters; Stephanie Pattermann of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Heather Lindquist of Longview, Texas, Cecilia Harrell and husband Steven of Sherman, Texas, three sons; Brian Whitson of the home, Chris Whitson and wife Yana of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Joseph Whitson of Texas, two sisters; Linda Whitson Sirman of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Jonsye Bailey and husband Aaron of Dayton, Arkansas and 13 grandchildren.
David was preceded in death by his parents. He was Co-Owner of Midwest Sporting Goods in Fort Smith, Arkansas and was active in the Fort Smith Boys and Girls Club.
Funeral Services will be 6:00 pm Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma. The family will meet with friends and family before the service from 5pm - 6pm.
